This is how I spent my weekend

On Saturday I worked on this atc swap I'm in. It's a watermelon theme. These two stamps were sent to me by a friend(who is also hosting the swap) and I they just worked out perfect for this swap! I used dimensional glaze on the seeds then sprinkled black glitter. For the edges of the paper I just sprayed it with water then messed it up with my fingers.


On Sunday I decided I wanted to make my flower bed larger. There was a small in this spot when we moved in and it was really little. I measures and went and bought the bricks and soil and flowers. It took me about 4 hours but I'm very happy with it!

Altered Beer Bottle

A friend of ours brought over beer and it was in this cool bottle. I had to save them because I thought they were so neat. I used old vintage sewing patterns sent me by a friend to alter the bottle. The strange thing is when I put the glue on it kinda made the paper transparent. I thought when it dried it would lighten up some but it didn't. It looks kinda vintage in real life.

I'm all shook up!

This is a cigar box I altered. My friend Sherri from The Stamp Shack sent me this Elvis image and I just knew he needed to be a box! I printed I'm all shook up on my computer and put it on the inside of the lid.

Amaryllis in bloom!!!

I just love walking outside and seeing the giant beautiful flowers in bloom. I only wished they bloomed all summer. It's a once a year event and I guess that's part of the reason I love them so much! I never get tired of looking at them. I have some more on the other side of the tree that will be blooming any day now. They are red, I'm not sure which I like more the red or the pink and white ones. The other day on a walk I saw some in someone elses yard that were orange! I've never seen orange before. I might have to go in the night and digs hers up! LOL!! Only kidding!

Baby Boy Book

I made this little scrapbook. It's 4"X4". I used a total of 8 coaster's to make this book. Then used my Bind it all to bind it together.

Mini Scrapbook

I made this mini scrapbook out of 4"X4" coasters. Covered them with pattern paper, punched wholes with my cropodile, tied with lace and embellished. It was fast and easy!

Mini Mickey Scarpbook

I made this scrapbook out of coasters that are 4"X4" . It has a total of eight coasters. I've included a few of the pages here.

CD Scrapbook

I made this scrapbook out of old Cd's. It's for my mom to give to a lady at work who is crazy about Mickey Mouse. Thanks to a couple RAKS I got some awesome pattern paper and stickers to use!!

Bra and Undie Cards

The inside of the thong one says: In every older person is a yonger person wondering what the heck happened.



I need to work on cutting more slowly but I think it's still pretty cute. The inside of the card says Hang In There.

Jiggs sleeping.......

He loves sleeping under the covers! He got hot and poked his little head out and I just had to take a picture of him!

Wecome Spring..........

This is a card I made for a contest over at The Paper Quilter. I stamped the image and then used prima flowers instead of coloring it. I colored the pot then used glitter glue over it give it a nice shine!!

Pretty In Pink Cigar Box

I bought this paper to make this box. I then made the card first and liked it so much that I decided it would make a pretty box too.

Woof!

I made a dog themed box today. This is the top of it.

On the inside I used a metal embellishment with a dog phrase on it.

This is the outside of the box.

This is my dog. He has a spot on my craft table. He loves looking out the window while I craft. I thought it was appropriate in this post since I was making a woof box! :D

Pretty In Pink

I got the layout for this card from My Paper World I loved the way it turned out. I did paper piecing on the flower and used twinkling h2o's to splatter across the image. It gives the image a nice effect.

Beauty

I used my twinkling h2o's to color the stamp. The stamp set is from CTMH. I then used the aqua brush to splatter the h2o's across the image. It was very easy and pretty fun too. My finger is all blue now though!

God created man.............

Well I got my new stamps yesterday and I'm just loving them!!!! I got them from I Brake For Stamps.
The inside of this cards says: Sure God created man before woman. But then you always make a rough draft before the final masterpiece.

I'm trying to make a set to give as a gift for someone.

Look how pretty my roses still are!!!

I got these on Feb. 13, the day before Valentines. They are still going strong and look so pretty! This picture really doesn't do them justice. I cut them every day and add fresh water, I think that helps them to last longer. Just thought I'd share!

Altered Cigar Box

This one is my ladybug box. My cousin gave me this cute ladybug and I knew I wanted it for the top of one of my boxes. I looked for ladybug paper but coudn't find any but I think this paper goes pretty good with it. My friend Cindi is sending me a ladybug sentiment that I"m going to put on the inside lid.

Altered Cigar Box

Well I'm at it again. I have about 7 boxes to alter and I started with this one. I decided that a poker box would be cute. I had some old playing cards that I used for the top. Don't tell dbf put I used some of his poker chips too! Shhhhhh!!!




I thought it would be really cute to put dice on the bottom to use as feet. I think they look cute!

Candy Bar Wrapper

I made this simple wrapper to go around a giant size hersey's bar. I'm going to stick it inside dbf's lunch on thrusday.

Card Holder

I had such a fun time making this card holder. There is a pocket for each month for you to store your cards.


I bought this paper a while back. It came in handy making this book. This month's has a card in it to show you.

Coupon Book

I got the idea for this out of my Bound 2 Bind book. It has a ton of cool ideas in it! The ouside covers are made with chipboard.


The inside is evelopes covered in patter paper and then I added red tape to the sticky part on the flap.




I stappled ribbon to the edges so it's easy to turn the pages and gives it some cute character.

I'm back!!!!

Yippee skippee!!! I am back among the computer living! Got a new computer today! Now I just have to get use to this new stuff on this one! I'll be posting some new stuff soon so stayed tuned!
