Butterly Silhouette

These were done for a silhouette swap. I know most silhouettes are done in black but I thought white would look better. I used distress ink with a blending tool to create the background color. The butterflies are done with clear embossing powder on white cardstock.

I love the spotlight technique and it's one you don't always see a lot of. This was done for a swap I'm hosting. I used that Smooch stuff to put the dots on the petals and on the inside of the flower. Pretty neat stuff to use and dries really fast.

Monday- Lindsay's Stamp stuff time

Awww, spring!!! This is my creation for Lindsay's Stamp Stuff. I used the Doodle Flowers set for the flag on my mailbox. The mailbox came from the dollar section at Target. They had them out around valentines day. I thought this might make a cute little gift to give to someone for Easter too. You could fill it full of candy and then they could use it to store goodies in too!!! Anyhow, I hope you all have a wonderful week!

You can find this set over at My Grafico. I colored it using my Bic Mark-It's......I just love those things!!! I decided to keep it simple and just mount it on cardstock and used a touch of pattern paper to give it a little interest. Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!!!!!
