Altered Writing Tablets

I bought this cute writing tables five for 88cents. I then glued them to some cardstock and decorated the outside. I'm selling these at the craft fair too. They take about 10 mins. to make, so they are fast and easy. Hopefully they sell well, I think I'm going to price them for about $2 each. The second picture is what it looks like on the inside.

Altered Cigar Box

Here is my attempt at altereing a cigar box. I got them for free and want to sell them at the craft fair.

Paperbag Book

I am doing a craft fair and a friend from the stamp shack gave the directions on how to do these books. Thanks Cindi!!! Ok here ya go:

Take 3 brown paper lunch bags and stack them on top of each other, alternating the ends. Like the bottom to the right once and the next time to the left.

Then you fold them in half

Next you bind them, it's easier to bind them first, otherwise they are so thick it's hard to work with.

Next you just add paper and embellish as you like. I added little tags inside where the little flaps are. I taped them down on the sides first then put the pp over it. Look at the third picture. Very easy to do.

These are used as sign in books. Pass it around to your guests and have them put their thoughts down. You can use the little pockets to put pictures in and store items from your special day!!

Wow, they said we were going to get some rain but man. My street is flooded and it's just raining buckets. Here are some pictures for you.

My nephew

Ok this isn't the best picture of me and you can really see how fat I am but........ This is my nephew. He just turned 14 on August 3rd. He is already 6 foot!!! He's always been big for his age and so I shouldn't be that surprised. I remember when he was a little baby and playing with him. I miss that age, he makes me feel old. That is my mom with us and Nathan in the background.

Godson's party

Wow, we made it through the party! There ended up being about 30 people here. It lasted from Noon until 11.30 pm! I was so tired by the end. I think I've finally got my house back in order and caught up on my sleep! Here are some pictures from the party.
