Here are a couple cards I made. The delight on I made at the scrapbook class I went to the other day. I had to come home and add a couple things to it to spruce it up a bit. It was kinda boring.

Went to a scrapbook class
I went to my first scrapbook class on Saturday. I had an ok time. I really like the layouts we did. The demo was a CTMH demo and they had some pretty paper but.....they are expensive. I didn't buy anything and I don't think I will go back. Here are the layouts we did. Sorry they are blurry but it's the best I could get with my cheapo camera.

New stamp
I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and bought a few new stamps. This is one of them. I had been wanting this stamp for a while and I got it on clearance for $2.59!! I made this card for one of my shackie friends. Now if someone will tell me what it says! LOL! Lerire est la voix du bonheur
I colored the image with prismacolor pencils and then used a blender pen to blend the colors some. I tried to copy the stamp as best as I could, I'm just not good with coloring yet. I need more practice.

Nail Polish Technique
I made this card using the nail polish technique. It was a challenge from the stamp-shack posted by Renée. Take a bowl of water and add a couple different colors of nail polish to it. Then take your white card stock and lay it on the the top of the water. You can also put your paper in the bowl, fill the bowl with water, then add nail polish. When you lift the paper you get the swirl of polish.

This is a card I made with my new stamps that I bought at By Design Scrapbook Boutique. You really must check out this store: http://www.tracykeith.typepad.com/ It's so fancy!
I used some paper sent to me from Heather/Firecracker. It's by Daisy D's paper and it rocks!! I love it, thanks Heather! I distressed the image using reinkers on a cotton ball. Also thanks to Cheri for the fibers!

Getting Ready for Christmas
OK I know it's July but haven't you heard of Christmas in July!! I've been making some Christmas tags for Sherri's swap and I must say I'm very proud of how they look! Thanks to Sherri for sending me the paper punch outs to finish them up. One day I might own a giga punch, one day! I used white liquid applique for his hat, so it's nice and puffy! After I made this tag, I didn't have enough of the punches so I had to beg for someone to make me some and Sherri helped me out! I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find anyone to help so I decided to make them a little different. Then I found someone so I made the second tag into a cute card.
The stamp is called Country Claus by Rubber Stampede. I really like him, I think I got him in a stamp swap, so thanks to who ever added him in !Tuesday, July 10, 2007
Bubble Background Technquie
These two cards were made using the bubble technique. You take about 4-5 tablespoons dish soap or bubbles, 1/2 -1 cup water and about 10 drops food coloring or re-inkers. Mix together in a bowl and then take a straw and blow bubbles. You know, like you did with your milk when you were a kid!!! After the bubbles are high take your white cardstock and place on top of the bubbles. The bubbles will pop against the paper and leave the bubble background. I found that if you want more color blow bubbles add more dye blow more bubbles then place your cardstock. This is so easy and so much fun!
