This is the first time using this cute turtle stamp. It's a clear dollar stamp that someone sent me in the mail and I paired it up with a Paper Studios sentiment.

Asian Delights

This was done for a swap that has an asian theme. The fan is acutally a charm for a necklace but I thought it would work great with this theme!!!

This is a TAC stamp. I just love this flamingo set. It's so fun to work with!!!! I colored her with my Bic markers.

Christmas Ornaments

I made these ornaments for a swap I'm in. I took empty ribbon rolls and cut one ridge off. I then painted them with acrylic paint and decorated!!!! Didn't they turn out cute!!!!

Happy Halloween

I'm not one who usually does anything for halloween but I was sent this cute set of clear stamps and wanted to use them! I used distress inks for the background and a cottonball for the spiderweb in the corner!

Christmas Gift Tag

I made a set of 20. I used wadded up plastic baggie and dipped in my ink to do the background. It gives it a nice little pattern.

Going Nuts?

I just love this stamp set. I don't think I'll ever get tired of playing around with it!!!!

Halloween Garland

Got the idea from someone who posted this link over at the Stamp Shack. They used them for candy covers but I decided to turn them into garland!!!!! It was super easy too.

A couple of swaps

This is for a swap I'm participating in. The hostess sent us all the same image then we had to make something with it. I altered it a bit. The hippo is suppose to have a bird on it's back and a tail but I decided she was cute without them!!!

Vegge out!

I made this atc for a surprise swap I hosted. I pop-dotted all the fruit to give it something extra.

I bought a new set of stamps yesterday and this shoe was part of them. Isn't it great!!! I made this card for a swap I'm hosting that's all about shoes!

Here's the scoop round two

Well it's sad to say but I had a flaker in the My Favorite Things Theme swap. I had to come up with another atc. This is what I came up with. I used distress ink and cut and dry foam to ink the edges of the image.

I've been published!!!!

This is soooo exciting!! I've been published in the September issue of Scrap & Stamp Arts Magazine!! This is the card that was published!!! Whoo-Hoo!!!

Skull

I made this for a skull themed swap I'm in over at the Stamp Shack. I stamped the skull onto white cardstock with clear embossing ink then sprinkled clear embossing powder over it. Then I used a black ink pad and ran across the top and took a paper towel and wiped the ink off of the skulls.

Distress Ink Tutorial

This is such a fun technique to play with that I thought I would show how easy it is to do! You can use any color combos to make stunning effects. Have fun playing!!!


The supplies you'll need is a Ranger craft sheet, three colors of distress ink, perfect pearls, a paint brush and a spray bottle of water.


First take your inks and press them directly onto your craft sheet. You can use as many or as few colors as you like. I like to use three.


Next you will dip your dry brush into some perfect pearls.

Then you will sprinkle the perfect pearls on top of your ink colors. You can see that here.

Next is to spray the inks and perfect pearls with water.

Now take your white cardstock and run through. You will need to press it and pick it up and look at it. Just keep running it through the colors you want to get the right effect.

This is what it will look like once you lift it up. Now wait for it to dry and have some fun playing with your beautiful work!!!

Distress Inks

I was playing around with my distress inks today. I made this atc using them. I took three colors of ink and put them onto my craft mat, then I sprinkles some perfect pearls on top and sprayed with water. I ran a regular piece of cardstock through it to pick up the color. Very easy and really dramatic effects!

A butterfly must forget

I copied the layout from pagemaps.com. I used shell pink alcohol ink for the background.
