This is the book we made in the Tim Holtz class. He taught us how to paint using alcohol inks. It was such a fun class and he was so sweet! He gave some good tips too!!! I say if you ever get the chance to take a class from him do it!!!! They are a bit pricey but well worth it!

Can you believe I got to take a class with him today!!! We made this super cool clear scrapbook and used alcohol inks to color it in! He was teaching two other classes but I couldn't afford to take all three of them. I had so much fun, he is sooo sweet and funny! If you ever get a chance to take a class with him I would strongly suggest you take it no matter the cost! He provides everything you need so it's well worth the cost! I'll post pictures of the scrapbook as soon as I get it finished, I just need to add the letters to it!

ATC's and a card

Well I was busy playing today! I made this chocolate theme atc for a swap I'm hosting over at the Stamp Shack. I used SU- Oh So Sweet set. I got to use my new cuttlebug folder too!!!

This atc is also for a swap I'm hosting. I made my own shimmer/glimmer paper for the background. That stuff is sooo easy to make and so much cheaper too!

Just wanted to play with my Alcohol Inks. I love them so!!!

Clothespins for baby shower

I am having a baby shower for a friend of mine and I am making these clothespins for a game. I think they turned out pretty cute!!!!

Recipe Box

Here is a box I've been working on. I think it turned out pretty darn cute! I bought a sizzix die folder for the inside dividers. I placed a poll on the Stamp Shack and it seemed that most people would prefer to have the dividers left blank so they can fill them the way they wish. That's what I did! the flowers are some of the news ones from Prima flowers. They are soo cute with the print! They are just a little hard to fine like most Prima's in my area. Oh well, I found them and love them so I'm happy!!!

A lady that is in one of my swaps over at The Stamp Shack sent me this image. Isn't it just the cutest thing!! The inside reads: There is nothing better than to end a bad day covered in dog slobber!!! Thanks Merry!!!

I found these two cute penguin stamps at a LSS for 99 cents each!! I couldn't pass that bargain up and just look how cute they are!

Fur Balls Suck!

This is a card I made for a friend of mine. Her cat had to have surgery to remove a fur ball and so I came up with card to send her.

I used a Hedi Swapp mask to make this card. I stuck it to glossy cardstock then did alcohol inks over it.

New Hair Do

I went and got my hair cut the other day. I thought maybe she cut the front layers to short but I'm liking it more each day. It's hard taking a good picture of yourself so sorry about that!

New Cards

I used stickles in the center of the flowers for this card. I got the image from a friend of mine.

I wanted to play with my new TAC set and this is what I came up with. The matted image was given to me by a friend and I added alcohol inks to it.

I love Riley! He is so darn cute. This image was also sent to me by a friend.

My Grandpa

I was at my grandparent's house a couple weeks ago and I took this picture with my regular camera. I got the film developed today and decided I loved this picture and took a picture of the picture with my digital camera so I could share it. I thought he looked so sweet sitting there. It's a wonderful memory for me. My grandpa will be 90 July 10!! I have had so many great times with them and cherish them deeply.

Camping Trip

We went camping this weekend to Huntsville State Park. It's a pretty nice place to camp with lots of stuff to do. On Saturday we went hiking on what we thought was a 2 mile hike. Turns out we passed the spot we were suppose to turn and ended up walking a 7 mile hike instead! It took us about 3-4 hours to finish and we didn't have any water! We were all so tired and glad when we saw the road! LOL!! I'd do it again as long as I had water!

A beautiful flower!

Me and Jiggs at camp, this is before the hike! Jiggs did really well on the seven mile walk tough. He had is water and only stopped to rest a couple of times! Good boy!

This is on a trial I did on Sunday. It was just me and jiggs and we had a great time listening to the birds.

Asian Theme ATC

I made this atc for a swap I'm hosting over at The Stamp-Shack. I made my own glimmer/shimmer mist paper and then heat embossed the love stamp onto it. I took gold vellum and ran it through my cuttlebug with a floral folder. I'm pretty happy with it, It's really shimmery in real life.

New cards

This is my new stamp set I got when I visited my LSS today. I got the set for 50% off! It was perfect because I already have the Oliver and Olivia sets so now my owl set is complete!

I made this for a Birthday Card. My fav color is purple so I thought I'd do a purple theme.

Hydroponic Garden

I decided to try a hydroponic garden this year. I took some seeds and planted them inside the foam you buy for fresh flowers that soak up water. I also bought a tomato plant and washed all the soil from it's roots, it's the one putting tomatoes on now. The others all germinated!! Can you believe it!!! I love that this is sooo easy! I did a small one this year to see if it would work and I think next year I'll do a big one!

Houston's Art Car Parade

We went to the art car parade today and I thought I'd share with ya some pictures of some of the cars! There were a ton of good ones!

Baby Blanket

One day I will have this finished. It will eventually turn into a baby blanket for a friend of mine. She is having a boy and I thought it would be fun to make it this green color. I wish you could feel it, it's super soft! I'll be sure to post a picture of it when it's all done too!
